The double screened bottom board serves as a screened bottom board (including the tray to control air flow) or as a double screen board (to place in between two boxes, once you remove the plastic tray).

A must-have for overwintering nuc colonies and is also great for splitting.

To use, place the Double Screened Nuc Bottom Board in between two nuc boxes. It’s as easy as that! 2 layers of metal screen mean no physical bee contact if nucs are double stacked making splits.

The flat landing board makes this piece of equipment compatible with entrance feeders and other tools that you may want to add to the nuc entrance.
